THE YEAR OF THE DRAGON AT THE PALAZZO: At 8,000 pounds and 128-feet a red and yellow-bellied dragon by the name of,  “Choo Choo,” sits at The Palazzo Las Vegas; it was installed to ring in the Chinese New Year. After more than 13 months, 30 dragon options, and hours of hard work by 100 artists the smoke and fire breathing dragon nestles tall and proud in the resort’s Waterfall & Atrium Gardens.  The Venetian and The Palazzo will hold a “ceremonial dance,” and, “lavish feng shui-inspired décor, auspicious dish offerings, festive cocktails and awe-inspiring events,” January 23 at 1PM. The dragon will remain from January 23 to February 5.
