The Louis Vuitton Condom is Fake, But the @MarcJacobsintl Condoms Are Real

The Louis Vuitton condoms that surfaced the internet last year have once again resurfaced this year by the means of online users. We hate to burst your condom bubble, but the condoms you see above are fake. They, nor the person who designed them, are in no relation to the luxury brand. The condom was designed by architect Irakli Kiziria for a design-project in collaboration with Design Provocation. They were hoping to release the $68 fake Louis Vuitton condoms up for purchase on World AIDS Day and donate the proceeds to amFAR, The Foundation For AIDS Research. Unfortunately for them this is a) false advertisement to the customer and most importantly b) counterfeiting, both which would land them behind bars.
There’s a joke going around on Twitter about the price. Why $68 and not $69? (Sixty-nine referring to the sex position). Well, putting the number into question is a great observation (kudos to the brain cells hard at work). They chose $68 because apparently you can buy six 12-packs of regular condoms with that much money, meaning: appreciate that condoms are cheap and get some and stay protected.
For designer condoms try Marc Jacobs condoms “Remember, safety first! xxoo, Marc Jacobs” at only $1.50.
