Coco Rocha and her husband James Conran were honored this week by Fashion Delivers, a charitable organization within the fashion community.  The couple, along with fellow model and friend Behati Prinsloo, had traveled to Haiti, bringing with them hundreds of letters from kids all over the world to those affected by the earthquake in Haiti. After having received such a positive response, they intend to repeat the project again very soon and with an even larger gaggle of beautiful model friends.

Another project for Coco has been working with Senhoa, an organization that rescues young girls from the sex trade in Southeast Asia by providing them with a home, education, and the skills to make jewelry. Coco is currently designing a line of jewelry for the cause that will be available by the end of the summer. Like the rest of the organization’s jewelry, the proceeds will go back into the project and go towards bringing up the younger girls.

As a result of these projects, Coco has been using Twitter quite a bit to raise support and give a voice to her causes. Coco says that it has given her even greater exposure and if someone Tweets something mean, she will find them:

“When people tweet something that’s a little rude they generally don’t use the “@” but little do they know we check! So it’s fun if someone writes a tweet that’s a little cheeky and you write back and they apologize! They think they’re untouchable, but I can always come back to find them.”

Lesson Learned: Do not Tweet mean things about Coco Rocha!
